Jinbei can be worn by babies and up.
We recommend a romper-type outfit (like our Jinbei Overalls) for newborns, and separate-type outfits (like our Jinbei Suit) for once your baby starts walking.
Choosing the right product based on your baby's age and development will ensure a comfortable experience.
Jinbei are casual everyday clothes that don't require an obi sash, and are characterized by their ease of movement and ease of putting on.
On the other hand, yukata are traditional Japanese clothing worn as a single garment that add a touch of elegance to special occasions.
Each has its own charm, so we recommend choosing according to the occasion and your preference.
The front opening of the jinbei is designed to be worn like an over-the-top closure. First, tie the string on the inside (left side), then tie the string on the outside (right side) to put it on.
It features a comfortable fit that doesn't feel too tight, and it's designed to be less likely to come undone even when your child moves around.
It's easy to use, even for first-time users.
We recommend wearing hadagi underneath the jinbei. It gently absorbs sweat, making it easier to maintain a comfortable, dry feel.
Even if the sweat is light, we recommend washing to keep it clean.
If you cannot wash it immediately, do not leave it wet with sweat.
Reshape it and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
If it is very sweaty or stained, place it in a laundry net and wash it on a gentle cycle (such as the hand wash setting) in your washing machine.
After washing, reshape it and hang it to dry in the shade to maintain its texture and ensure longterm wear.

We recommend choosing a size that matches their current height.
Because of its relaxed fit, it can be worn with a little extra room.
Some people choose one size up if they want their child to wear it next year as well.
