How to Use

[Setting the Time]

1. The time (hours and minutes) can be adjusted by pulling the crown all the way out. To adjust, turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to advance or reverse the time.
2. Return the crown to its normal position and the second hand will start moving again, completing the setting.

[How to detach and attach the strap]

*The strap on this product can be replaced.
*Replacement strap is not a MIKI HOUSE original.

1. Turn the watch over so that the crown is on the left.

2. Place a coin or similar object into the approx. 1cm-long groove in the center of the strap fastening cover on the back of the watch as shown in the image and turn it counterclockwise. (Results may depend on the thickness of the coin)

3. Once the strap fastening cover is removed, pull out the strap.

4. When attaching the strap, slide the belt into the watch until the single large hole at the center of the strap aligns with the center of the watch.

5. Place the protrusion at the center of the strap fastening cover into the large hole in the strap, and turn the cover clockwise to secure.

Safety Precautions

Please follow these instructions to prevent injury to the user and those around the user, and damage to property.

[Waterproof Performance]

• This watch is waterproof for daily use (to 3 atmospheres). It can withstand rain or washing your hands, but it is not designed to be used underwater.

[Warning]

• When engaging in strenuous exercise or work, we recommend that you remove the watch to prevent injury or accidents to your child or those around them.
• If you remove the button battery or parts, please ensure that children do not ingest them. Keep batteries and parts out of reach of infants in particular. If a battery or part has been ingested, consult a doctor immediately. Ingesting a battery can result in death.
• Do not disassemble or modify the watch. Doing so may result in injury or damage to the watch.
• Remove the watch while sleeping. Failure to do so may result in unexpected injury or an allergic rash.

[Precautions for Use]

• Be sure to use the watch with the crown pressed in (normal position).
• Do not operate the crown with wet fingers or when the watch is wet. Water may enter the watch and compromise the watch.
• If moisture has entered the watch, or if the inside of the glass is fogged up and does not clear for an extended period, immediately take the watch to your purchase store or MIKI HOUSE Customer Service Center.

[Precautions for Wearing the Watch]

• Though the watch is waterproof, we recommend avoiding use in water. For normal use, leave some slack in the band and allow for good ventilation.
• In extremely hot or cold environments, the watch may stop or its functions may worsen. Do not use the watch outside its operating temperature range (operating temperature range: -5°C to +50°C).
  Do not leave the watch in your car, especially on the dashboard, which is exposed to direct sunlight and can become hot.
• The quartz movement used in the watch is sensitive to static electricity and is weak to strong static electricity.
  Please note that the watch may no longer display the correct time or may stop working if exposed to static electricity.
• Analog quartz watches utilizes magnets to operate, and strong external magnetic fields can disrupt their operation, causing them to stop showing the correct time or become unstable.
  Avoid placing the watch close to magnetic health equipment (such as a magnetic necklace), magnetic fasteners on bags, smartphone speakers, magnetic cooking appliances, etc.
• The resin case and band may become discolored or damaged if they come into contact with thinner, gasoline, solvents, oils, or fats, or cleaners, adhesives, paints, medicines, cosmetics, etc., that contain those substances.
• Leaving the product in close contact with other products for extended periods of time or storing the product wet with other products may cause color transfer. Wipe off any moisture and do not store the product in close contact with other products.
• Leaving the product in direct sunlight for extended periods of time or with dirt on it may cause color fading.
• The case and band are in direct contact with the skin. Dirt and sweat on the case and band, as well as metal allergies, may cause irritation and rashes.
  If you notice any abnormalities, immediately stop use and consult a doctor.
• The band may gradually fade due to perspiration or dirt. Always keep it clean by wiping with a dry cloth.

[Precautions for Storage]

• Use a soft cloth to wipe off dirt, perspiration and water from the case and glass.
• If you will not be using the watch for an extended period of time, thoroughly wipe off any perspiration, dirt, moisture, etc., and store in a cool, dry place.
• Storing the watch in a hot, humid environment can cause the built-in battery to leak.

About Warranty and After Service

[Warranty Provisions]

1. If a malfunction occurs within the warranty period under normal use conditions, we will repair it free of charge in accordance with the warranty provisions.
   

   (1) Warranty applies only to products received and used within Japan.
   The warranty period is two years from the date of receipt of the product at the store. Please be sure to have the store staff record the date of receipt and store name when you receive the product.

   (2) In the event of a malfunction, please bring the product back to the store where you received it or consult the MIKI HOUSE Customer Service Center. Please have your warranty card ready when you contact us.

   (3) Please note that depending on the situation, we may use substitute parts during repair with different appearances for exterior parts such as the glass, dial, hands, and crown.

   (4) Please note that depending on the nature of the malfunction or other circumstances, we may replace the product instead of repairing it.
   Furthermore, the initial warranty period will continue to apply to products that have been repaired (including replacement) in accordance with the warranty provisions.

   (5) Harm caused by the inability to use the product due to a malfunction will not be compensated.
   ※This warranty is only applicable in Japan.

2. The following items are excluded from the warranty and will not be repaired.

   (1) Band

   (2) Cracks in the case

   (3) The battery (monitor battery) installed in the watch when you receive it is a battery installed at the factory to check its functions and performance. The battery will be depleted before you receive the watch, and a battery replacement fee will be charged even during the warranty period.

3. Even if a malfunction occurs within the warranty period, a fee will be charged in the following cases.

   (1) If the warranty card is not presented.

   (2) If the date of receipt and store name are not indicated on the warranty card.

   (3) If a request for repair is made after the warranty period has expired, even if the malfunction occurred during the warranty period.

   (4) If there are signs of deliberate disassembly by the customer.

   (5) If the malfunction or damage is caused by fire, earthquake, storm or flood damage, lightning strike or other natural disasters, terrorism, riots, pollution, salt damage, or gas damage (sulfurous gas, etc.).

[Repairs After the Warranty Period]

1. To enable customers to use our watches for a long time, we will provide repairs for a certain period of time after the warranty period for a fee.

   (1) Repairs will be limited to functional repairs (repairs that affect the basic operation of the watch).

   (2) We will not accept requests for repairs of cosmetic defects (case, belt, etc.).

   (3) We may refuse to repair the watch if there are signs of deliberate disassembly by the customer.
