The MIKI HOUSE Iwataya Main Store reopened on September 16, 2026, following an extensive renovation.
The renewed store has been designed so that visitors can more fully experience the distinctive world of each MIKI HOUSE brand. It also introduces Kyushu’s first dedicated MIKIHOUSE GOLDLABEL brand space, showcasing the brand’s premier collection.
In addition to the latest collections from each brand, the store offers a wide selection of bags, accessories, and shoes. Staff are also available to provide thoughtful, personalized recommendations to meet a variety of needs, including gifts to celebrate the arrival of a new baby and other special occasions.
The store welcomes many visitors from across Asia and around the world, with staff available to assist customers in English, Chinese, and Korean. This allows international visitors to enjoy their shopping experience with greater comfort and peace of mind.

The renewed MIKIHOUSE GOLDLABEL area offers an even wider selection of pieces, along with a spacious new lounge where customers can relax and take their time browsing the collection. Made with rare materials such as Sea Island Cotton, cashmere, and silk, each piece brings together exceptional materials and the craftsmanship of skilled Japanese artisans—qualities that define MIKIHOUSE GOLDLABEL. The Iwataya Main Store is the first store in Kyushu to feature a dedicated MIKIHOUSE GOLDLABEL brand space. MIKIHOUSE CHIECOSAKU
Since its debut in August 2022, MIKIHOUSE CHIECOSAKU (hereinafter referred to as “CHIECO SAKU”) has been warmly received by customers around the world. Defined by its signature red and pink palette, CHIECO SAKU is known for its charming silhouettes and designs, with an emphasis on cuteness down to the smallest detail. The range has also expanded beyond clothing to include accessories and lifestyle items. The designs bring to life the world imagined by Chieco, the brand’s rabbit-inspired character, capturing an irresistible charm. The Iwataya Main Store is the first store in Kyushu to feature a dedicated CHIECO SAKU brand space. Visitors are welcome to explore the collection and discover the charm of CHIECO SAKU firsthand.
A Store Designed to Meet a Wide Range of Needs
A Spacious Shoe Area
The renewed store features a large shoe area bringing together shoes from across the MIKI HOUSE brands. Staff carefully measure each child’s feet and help families find a pair that fits comfortably and suits their individual needs. From First Shoes for a child’s earliest steps to Second Shoes and Kids’ Shoes for later stages of growth, the area offers a wide range of brands and designs to choose from. Seasonal styles, including sandals for warmer weather and boots for autumn and winter, are also available.
Families are welcome to stop by just to have their child’s feet measured or to ask our staff for advice, even if they are not yet ready to purchase a pair.
A New Gift Corner
The renewed store now features a dedicated gift corner with a selection of babywear, baby items, and picture books for a variety of occasions, including gifts to celebrate the arrival of a new baby and birthdays. The corner offers products made with safety and quality in mind, so customers can feel confident choosing a gift for someone special. Staff are also available to help customers find the right gift based on the occasion and their budget.

Known for its denim and American-inspired casual style, MIKIHOUSE DOUBLE_B has long been popular with parents who enjoy a cool, relaxed look for their children. Following the renovation, the DOUBLE_B area has been refreshed with a more stylish, distinctive atmosphere that reflects the character of the brand. The renewed area features a wide selection of signature DOUBLE_B casual styles, with plenty of pieces that are casual yet stylish. The latest arrivals range from coveralls to shoes and pants, offering families a varied selection to explore.
A Play Spot for Children
At MIKI HOUSE, we want every visit to the store to be enjoyable for children, too. With that in mind, the store features three different wall toys, each designed so that even younger children can join in the fun. Families are welcome to visit together and enjoy a little playtime along the way.
For more than 20 years, the MIKI HOUSE Iwataya Main Store has been warmly supported by customers from the local community, across Japan, and around the world. Many families have continued to visit across generations, while the store has also welcomed visitors from many different countries. Following the renovation, the store is now approximately 1.3 times larger than before, with a significantly expanded product selection and more spaces for personalized service. The new layout allows visitors to experience the world of MIKI HOUSE more fully, while creating a store that children, too, can enjoy.
